What Are Medicaid Meals
If you, your patient or a family member participates in Medicaid and struggles to get the nutrition you need, the 1115 Medicaid Waiver program might be just what they need.
This new program, offered by the state of New Mexico, can provide two meals a day, delivered directly to your home, at no cost to you!*
If you live in the Albuquerque Metro area (Albuquerque, Rio Rancho or Corrales) and choose Meals on Wheels New Mexico for your meals, we can deliver them hot and daily, directly to your home. Or, if you prefer, you can receive a week’s worth of frozen meals delivered weekly. Those outside the Albuquerque area can get their meals shipped directly to their home weekly.
So, if Hatch Green Chile Chicken Tamales or Homemade Beef Stew with Biscuits or Grandma’s Posole with Beans and Rice sound like just the medicine you need, just fill out the form below and a Meals on Wheels New Mexico team member will get back to you soon to start the process.
*Getting your meals paid for by Medicaid is intended to support people who are elderly, disabled or struggling with gestational diabetes and will require the completion of an approval process through your insurance company.
