Chris is one of the newest members of our volunteer family—but delivering food is nothing new to him. As a recently retired food truck driver, Chris spent years crisscrossing Albuquerque to bring fresh ingredients to your community.
Retirement didn’t keep him off the road for long. Before he knew it, he was in our volunteer orientation class, eager to keep moving and make a difference. What he didn’t expect was the incredible connections he’d form along the way. From morning chats with fellow volunteers to check-ins with the clients on his route, Chris quickly found that Meals on Wheels New Mexico truly brings people together.
